MOVI is reaching out to Californians in every legislative district to join our Constituent Teams tasked with making sure their State Senator understands that their constituents do not want foreign money in our elections.
Once you sign up, our MOVI team will meet with you via Zoom to provide you the information about this issue and the legislation, plus any coaching you need to hold in district meetings with your State Senator after the bill’s introduction in December 2025.
In addition, you are invited to join our MOVI Community Meetings held the 2nd Saturday of every month. Next Community Meeting is Saturday October 11, 2025, 10am PDT. Click Here to Register.
Who We Are
Contra Costa MoveOn is dedicated to improving our environment and getting money out of politics. We put on rallies, marches and educational events. We work with our legislators.
Originally, Contra Costa MoveOn was a local partner of national MoveOn until they discontinued their local partnerships program so we kept the name and are now completely separate.
Our mission is to educate and inspire action in adults and youth focused primarily on the environment and getting money out of politics. We partner with many groups and participate and promote their projects.
We have held marches, rallies, educational events and interviews in person and on TV. We have met with legislators in the Bay Area and in Sacramento. We have been featured on TV, newspapers, etc. and even had a few seconds on the Rachel Maddow Show.
